During a Thursday, Jan. 23, press conference, a representative for the Miami Beach Police Department confirmed that an officer witnessed two vehicles drag racing around 4:11 a.m on Pine Street Drive at 26th street, a residential area where Bieber's entourage apparently used their cars to block traffic.
Bieber's pal Khalil Sharief was pulled over first, followed by the "Boyfriend" singer, who was placed under arrest for resisting without violence.
The hitmaker, who did not have a valid license, then acknowledged he was using prescription antidepressants, had also been smoking marijuana and had a beer earlier that night.
Bieber and Sharief were taken to Miami-Dade jail, where they had their fingerprints and mugshots taken. But this is hardly the Biebs first eyebrow-raising scandal—here's a timeline of Bieber's recent bad behavior:
Jan 7, 2013: Photos surface of the Biebs purportedly smoking a blunt at a Jan. 2 party at a Newport Beach, Calif. hotel. "I see all of u. I hear all of u. I never want to let any of you down. I love u. and… thank u," he tweeted after the scandalous photos.
March 1, 2013: Bieber is set to ring in his 19th birthday with a circus-themed bash at London's Cirque du Soir, but the celebration turns sour when a confrontation occurred between Bieber's entourage and club security, prompting Bieber's entire party to leave. "Worst birthday," Bieber tweeted at the time.
March 4, 2013: The singer hit London's O2 arena stage nearly two hours late to the boos of disappointed Beliebers. Through his rose-colored glasses though, Bieber was only 40 minutes late (due to "technical issues") and his life is "not easy," you guys.
March 8, 2013: Justin lunges at a London paparazzo who tells him to "f--k off back to America." The singer was caught on camera, jumping out of his car while screaming furiously, "The f--k did you say? I'll f--king beat the f--k out of you!" He had to be restrained and lifted off the ground by his own security team, though he later tweeted in remorse. "Ahhhhh! Rough morning," he wrote. "Trying to feel better for this show tonight but let the paps get the best of me...Not gonna let them get the best of me again...Gonna get focused on this show tonight. Adrenaline is high now. Gonna put it on the stage…Only way someone can break u is if u let them."
March 14, 2013: Bieber posted a lengthy Instagram rant slamming the "countless lies in the press," as well as the rehab rumors and Lindsay Lohan comparison. Shortly after, he reposted the original Instagram, but tweaked the ending so that it did not refer to LiLo.
March 27, 2013: The "Baby" crooner is not only accused of battery by his neighbor, but he is also accused of spitting in the victim's face.
March 30, 2013: Justin's pet monkey Mally is officially seized by German officials after the musician failed to provide the requisite paperwork.
April 14, 2013: Bieber visits the Anne Frank Museum, says he hopes "she would have been a Belieber"
April 25, 2013: Police find a small amount of narcotics and a taser on Justin Bieber's tour bus in Sweden. No one was charged in the incident due to the vehicle being empty during the search.
May 28, 2013: Police visit the singer's home in response to calls complaining about his alleged reckless driving within the gated L.A.-area community.
June 9, 2013: Bieber is escorted out of Los Angeles hotspot Lure for being underage.

June 26, 2013: The young star is sued by a paparazzo over a parking lot confrontation which took place in front of Selena Gomez after Bieber allegedly "delivered a martial-arts type kick" to the plaintiff's lower-left rib cage. The incident was investigated by authorities but the L.A. County District Attorney's Office ultimately opted not to press charges against Bieber.
July 10, 2013: Bieber was caught on video urinating in a mop bucket and spraying cleaning fluid onto a picture of Bill Clinton while saying "F--k Bill Clinton." He later apologized to the former POTUS.

November 7, 2013: A sleeping Justin Bieber is caught on camera by a woman in Brazil. The 15-second video was uploaded to YouTube on Wednesday, Nov. 6, and in less than 12 hours it generated more than 2.7 million views (the woman in the video later claimed she slept with the singer). Earlier that same week, he was caught sneaking out of an "old-fashioned gentleman's club" in Rio while covered in a bed sheet where he spent several hours.
January 14, 2014: Police raid Justin Bieber's Calabasas, Calif. residence after obtaining a search warrant in order to look for evidence linking the Biebs (or his friends) to the egg-throwing incident. The pop star's pal Lil Za was arrested for felony drug possession after drugs were found "in plain sight" in Za's room, while Bieber has "not been arrested nor has he been exhonorated" in relation to the ongoing investigation.
January 23, 2014: Bieber is arrested for DUI in Miami Beach.
