That's a wrap on 2015 Comic-Con! If you can just give us a minute to get over our nerd hangover (it's a real thing), we can talk about all the awesome movie news that came out over the weekend.
OK, we're ready.
Batman v. Superman! Harrison Ford! Deadpool! Channing Tatum! Mockingjay! X-Men! Bill Murray! Star Wars! Not to sound crass, but our geek boner was just out of control at Comic-Con. There were so many surprises, footage, sneak peeks and more that came out of the big movie panels in San Diego. And we were there for all of it! If you missed our coverage over the weekend, then all you need to do to catch up is check out the 13 biggest film jaw-droppers from Comic-Con 2015.
WARNING: Spoilers for upcoming movies ahead. Also, we're not going to post any leaked footage, because we believe fans will want to see the high-res trailers and not some shaky, iPhone crap. However, we will talk a little bit about the trailers we saw that haven't been released yet. If you want to see low-quality video, go elsewhere. If you want some low-quality puns about movies, you're in the right place!
1. Star Wars: Han in the pilot seat once more
Not only did the behind-the-scenes featurette for Star Wars: The Force Awakens basically translate as: "Look, we really built all this stuff! Practical effects, we promise!" But we got a glimpse at Harrison Ford's Han Solo in the pilot seat, where he belongs. Goosebumps, anyone?
2. X-Men: Apocalypse: Professor X loses his hair
We knew this day was coming, but it was still chill-inducing to see James McAvoy as Charles Xavier up on the big screen in Hall H in his wheelchair and a bald head at the end of the Comic-Con trailer. So we got to see the young versions of Storm, Nightcrawler and Jean Grey, and we got our first look at Apocalypse, played by Oscar Isaac. Who is also starring in The Force Awakens. Yeah, he's doing OK.
3. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2: First look at the mutts
Remember those mutts chasing the crew in the sewers in the book? Well, the trailer offered at Mockingjay - Part 2's panel gave us a real glimpse at the movie version and they are…terrifying. Whatever you pictured in your head is probably not scary enough. The trailer also showed a quick look at that terrible, terrible event that happens at the end of the book. You know the one. It shatters your heart. As for the panel, well, we witnessed more love between Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson. Those three actually like each other and it's too cute.
4. Tom Hiddleston mocks Captain America
The Internet's favorite man was there promoting Crimson Peak, but we couldn't stop talking about his hilarious impression of Captain America's Chris Evans and costar Jessica Chastain that he showed off just for us.
5. Deadpool: The trailer brings the house down
The trailer for Ryan Reynold's R-rated portrayal of the beloved comic book character blew fans' minds so much that Hall H demanded they play it again. And Fox obliged. It was bloody, raunchy, brutal, gory, full of swearing and stuffed with one-liners. You know, the perfect Deadpool movie. Fans will be very, very pleased. The line that made the crowd roar was this description of Wade's face: "You look like Freddie Kruger f--ked a topographical map of Utah."
6. Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice: Batman witnessed the battle of Metropolis
Oh, snap! No wonder Batman is pissed. The Comic-Con trailer showed that not only was Bruce Wayne there during the destruction of Metropolis in Man of Steel, but it looks like his family might have been collateral damage. Cue Taylor Swifts "Bad Blood." Actually, could someone mash up the Dawn of Justice trailer with that song? Thanks.
7. Rock the Kasbah: Bill Murray's rockstar entrance
Was there any other way for such an iconic actor to make his first Comic-Con appearance? He walked through the fans while "Smoke in the Water" blasted and it was perfect. Even Jennifer Lawrence was freaking out over him.
8. Victor Frankenstein: The panel gets real sexual, real quick
We don't know how it started, but the panel for Victor Frankenstein became really sexy and full of sexual innuendos. We weren't mad about it, obviously, but it got to a point where everything out of McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe's mouth was a double entendre. McAvoy said himself he was a "walking penis joke." And then there was the moment when they reenacted a very homoerotic scene from the movie...(see photo above).
9. Gambit: Channing Tatum takes a superhero selfie
Channing surprised fans at the Fox panel to take the massive superhero photo with a selfie stick, natch. And while there was obviously no Gambit footage to show, it was nice to see him join his Fox family onstage.
10. Suicide Squad: The Joker is terrifying
When a photo of Jared Leto's Joker first appeared online, the reviews were mixed at best. And unfortunately, he's following Heath Ledger's remarkable, Oscar-winning performance in The Dark Knight, so people weren't really taking him seriously. But the Joker in the Comic-Con trailer for Suicide Squad isn't very funny at all. He's creepy, dark and will probably haunt nightmares forever. And that's exactly what we want from our Joker.
11. Star Wars: Harrison Ford's surprise appearance

Han is in the building! He wasn't scheduled to appear and due to his plane crash, most fans didn't expect Harrison Ford to show. But he did! And the crowd went wiiild.
12. Stan Lee's Cameo
Is a gathering of comic book heroes complete without a Stan Lee cameo? The answer is HELL NO.
How do you shut down Comic-Con? By using Stormtroopers to escort the entirety of Hall H to a special Star Wars concert. And that's how J.J. Abrams and co. essentially won Comic-Con.
See you next year, ya nerds!
