Best Movie Aliens Ever—Did Your Favorite Make the Cut?

Mars Attack!, Superman, Aliens Warner Bros.; 20th Century Fox

The upcoming release of Men in Black 3—whose star-studded premiere E! Online will be livestreaming on Wednesday—not only got us thinking about all the awesome aliens the first two flicks served up (hi, Frank the Pug!), but also had us chatting, and eventually debating, over which creatures from other worlds are actually the most memorable.

So take a look and see who we think are the biggest, brightest and sometimes baddest in the galaxy.

And if you agree, great. If not, even better!  We'd love to know which sci-fi stars you think should have made the cut. So sound off in the comments below!

The Avengers Made $1 Billion, So Will Batman and Superman Do a Justice League Movie Now?

The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises Marvel, Warner Bros.
More from Ask the Answer Bitch

With the Marvel Studio's The Avengers being a financial and critical success, could this prompt DC Comics to create a Justice League movie?

—Mrs. Abby C., via the inbox

You'd think that between Batman's utility belt, Wonder Woman's invisible jet and Superman's icy breath of righteousness, the Justice League would be able to get something done on a big screen—especially given that The Avengers just hoovered up an obscene billion dollars in box office income.

More from Marc Malkin

We're certainly not complaining, but have ya noticed how much we've been seeing of Henry Cavill's hot body lately?

Whether it's his smooth pecs and abs in Immortals (out on Friday) or his hairier Superman muscles in the upcoming Man of Steel, we're certainly hooked.

But which look does Cavill prefer—waxed within in an inch of his life or something a bit more natural?

Read on to find out what he just told us...

Check Out Russell Crowe's Man of Steel Costume!

 Russell Crowe Flynetpictures.com

When it comes to Superman's father, this is definitely not your daddy's.

Russell Crowe, who portrays the hero's biological pop Jor-El in the upcoming Man of Steel, gave us our first glimpse of his get-up on the movie's Vancouver set earlier this week.

And while it's a far cry from the ultra-white outfit that Marlon Brando wore on the planet Krypton in the 1978 film starring Christopher Reeve, it does seem pretty consistent with the look and feel of what his son will eventually be sporting here on Earth when the Zack Snyder reboot hits theaters on June 14, 2013.

So, do you like Crowe's costume? Or should they have simply brought back Brando's brighter duds?

Which Superman Costume Best Befits the Man of Steel?

George Reeves, Christopher Reeve, Henry Cavill, Superman ABC/Getty Images; Warner Bros; Clay Enos/Warner Bros

With all the talk lately about the newest Superman costume being worn by Henry Cavill in the upcoming Man of Steel, it's only natural to compare the outfit to two of the more iconic images we have of Krypton's sole survivor.

We're referring, of course, to George Reeves and Christopher Reeve, who both had respective turns wearing tights.

But the question is, which one had (or, in Cavill's case, has) the best look?

Who's Hotter in Tights: New Superman Henry Cavill or New Spider-Man Andrew Garfield?

Andrew Garfield, HENRY CAVILL, Spiderman John Schwartzman/Columbia Pictures; Clay Enos/Warner Bros.

OK. So we've already analyzed, maybe even overanalyzed a bit, the costumes created for both the Spider-Man and Superman reboots that will be making their way, eventually, into theaters.

But, seriously, when it's all said and done, do color schemes and capes really matter? Well, maybe for diehard fanboys and girls they do. But, for most, there's really only one discussion to be had...

Man of Steel's Superman: Is Henry Cavill's Costume Another Wonder Woman Disaster?

Henry Cavill WENN

How can Superman be both covered and completely exposed at the same time?

Some newly released images from Man of Steel provide a closer look at the Immortally buff Henry Cavill fully suited up for crimefighting and...we wonder if it's going to scare purists more than criminals.

Sure, there's still a big red "S" on his chest, but what else is going on here?

First Look: New Superman Movie Costume Revealed!

HENRY CAVILL, Superman, MAN OF STEEL Clay Enos/Warner Bros.

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's your first look at Clark Kent's alter-ego from Man of Steel!

Warner Bros. this morning released the inaugural image of Henry Cavill as Superman in what seems to be quite an adrenaline-surging action scene (though since production hasn't yet begun on the Zack Snyder superhero flick, we're guessing this was just a painstakingly staged photo op for our benefit).

Though for all the trouble they went to, they could've done with a tad better (if, albeit, slightly less dramatic) lighting scheme—while the red cape, signature "S" across the chest and well-filled-out (and oddly shiny) blue suit are all accounted for, it's hard to tell if he's also wearing the classic red trunks, or if WB changed up the color scheme.

But seeing as what happened the last time costume liberties were taken (yeah, we're looking at you, Wonder Woman), we're gonna give them the benefit of the doubt on this one. The movie is due out June 14, 2013.

CSI's loss is Man of Steel's gain.

We may have questioned whether or not the Superman reboot would ever make it to theaters after Warner Bros. confirmed it was pushing back the release date, but now we get a glimpse of hope.

Entertainment Weekly reports Laurence Fishburne will join fellow former TV crime-fighter Christopher Meloni in the flick as Daily Planet editor-in-chief Perry White.
