Prince William Opens Up About Pre-Wedding Jitters, Becoming King
Prince William's a royal, but like any groom, he had his fair share of pre-wedding jitters.
In Elizabeth: Queen, Wife, Mother, a documentary airing in the U.K. on ITV1 this June, William opens up about barely getting a wink of sleep the night before his and Kate Middleton's nuptials last April.
"I hadn't slept at all that night because obviously all the crowds were on The Mall," he says. "They were singing and cheering all night long. So the excitement of that, the nervousness of me, and everyone singing meant I slept for about half an hour."
What else was he anxious about on his big day?
Red Hot! Pippa Middleton Wows in a Raspberry Dress at Friend's Wedding
When it comes to wedding fashion, Pippa Middleton sure knows how to turn heads.
The 28-year-old party planner looked stunning in a tight-fitting, raspberry-hued Issa silk dress, paired with a matching fascinator and black pumps as she made her way to longtime friend Camilla Hook's wedding. Hook tied the knot with Sam Holland in East Lothian, Scotland, Saturday, according to the Daily Mail.
And if this dress looks familiar, your mind isn't playing tricks on you.
Kate Middleton Raises a Glass (So Much for Bumpwatch!) With Princes William and Harry in Honor of Queen Elizabeth
To be young, beautiful and royal is a feat worth celebrating, and that's just what Kate Middleton, Prince William and Prince Harry, along with the sovereigns of 26 countries, did today.
Correction: that's just what the happy trio, with glasses full of celebratory booze, did today. Guess this puts an end to the constant pregnancy talk surrounding the Duchess of Cambridge.
The in-laws were among the noble and otherwise titled masses that convened at Windsor Palace at the behest of Queen Elizabeth, who hosted a luncheon in honor of the milestone that just keeps giving (awesome photo ops), her Diamond Jubilee.
So, which other royals turned up to take part in the festivities?
Prince Harry Goes Pop: Shakes Tambourine—and His Booty!—on Queen's Diamond Jubilee Song
With all due respect to the purple-loving icon, it looks like the music industry actually is big enough for two Princes.
A music video released today in honor of Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee makes good on the promise Prince Harry made on his tour of the Commonwealth countries earlier this year in which he jokingly (or so he may have thought) offered to contribute "just one hit" of the tambourine to "Sing," the song released by British pop star extraordinaire Gary Barlow in honor of the royal grandmother's milestone year of reign.
Well, it was no joke, and we've got the proof.
Prince Harry and Queen Elizabeth II—Not Facebook Friends?!
When it comes to Facebook, who wouldn't want to friend Prince Harry, right?
Well, the redheaded royal tells Katie Couric there's one person very close to him who has yet to do so.
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II!
Kate Middleton, Prince William and Prince Harry Enjoy Dog Day Afternoon at Royal Polo Match
Call it the dog days of spring.
Maybe attending the London 2012 Olympics kickoff last Friday put Kate Middleton and Prince William into a particularly sporty state of mind, because the royal couple, along with Prince Harry, joined forces Sunday afternoon to participate in a charity polo match in Ascot, England.
Well, Wills and Harry did most of the participating. Kate, on the other hand, cheered the boys on as best she could, despite having her attentions slightly divided...
Kate Middleton Kicks Off Olympic Countdown While Prince William...Compares Himself to a Pigeon?!
The games are afoot!
There are only 77 days until the London 2012 Olympics begin (what? You're not counting?), and Prince William and Kate Middleton did their level best to hurry the ticking clock, turning up in the capital city Friday to celebrate the official kickoff to the sporting event with fellow celebs and a hefty portion of Team GB.
The royals got all dolled up in their patriotic finest for the event, rather immodestly dubbed Our Greatest Team Rises. Hey, there's no room for humility when there are gold medals to be won.
Prince Harry Dead?! Royal Namesake Pygmy Hippo Dies
All hippos go to heaven.
We must keep that in mind as we mourn the loss of Prince Harry the pygmy hippo. The royally adorable tiny calf passed away Wednesday morning, the Cango Wildlife Ranch in Oudtshoorn, South Africa posted on their website.
Prince Harry, who was rejected by his mother Hilda at birth, was raised by devoted human caretakers. The 7-week-old mammal died after undergoing surgery to repair a hernia.
Watch Now! Prince Charles Delivers a Jolly Good Weather Report
Good news for Al Roker: His job security has never been higher.
It would seem that a royal's work is never done, and Prince Charles proved it today when he dropped by the BBC's Scottish HQ, where he was quickly enlisted to deliver an on-air weather report to his subjects. And while he started out with just as much on-camera ease and charisma as you'd expect…well, prepare to be amused by the most unexpected of stiff-upper-lip–breaking outbursts.
And now, here's Prince Charles with the weather…
Kate Middleton Stuns in High-Slit Dress at Thirty Club Dinner
Move over Angelina Jolie. There's a new leg-baring diva in town.
Kate Middleton may have missed the Met Gala last night, but that didn't stop the Duchess of Cambridge from showing off her inner fashionista at a swanky shindig in London Tuesday (along with a little leg).
