Prince George's Blue Cardigan Sells Out After Wearing It to Meet Princess Charlotte!

He wore it to the hospital when he went to say hello to his new sister

It might have been Princess Charlotte's birthday, but all eyes were on Prince George as he made his way into the Lindo Wing with dad Prince William to visit his new baby sister and mom Kate Middleton.

Little George's Amaia blue cardigan sold out quickly after he was spotted wearing the handsome getup, E! News confirms. "Yes we unfortunately sold out all of our cardigans but hoping to have them back in stock in 2 weeks," a spokesperson for the designer tells us.

"We feel very honoured to see Prince George wearing our clothes, he is the cutest model we could ever ask for," the spokesperson continued. "We are also thrilled for the Duchess and her beautiful little Charlotte."

The U.K. children's clothing company also Instagrammed a pic of George with his dad as they waved to the onlookers outside of St. Mary's hospital. The 21-month-old royal seems to have locked down his future greeting already! "#princegeorge #wearing AMAIA #congratulations," the brand captioned the pic.

Both George and Wills wore matching blue cardigans to meet the newest addition to the family. Underneath his jumper, George wore a matching shirt-and-shorts set from Rachel Riley's Heritage collection. The white cotton shirt with blue piping and turn-up blue cord shorts, attachable with pearl effect buttons, retail for about $89 and come in sizes ranging from 6 months to 2 years old.

Brand founder Rachel Riley was also thrilled to see something from her collection on George and said in a statement, "We could not be happier that on this historic day, the birth of the first Royal Princess for a generation, that the Royal family should pick one of our designs to dress the Prince in as he makes his first visit to meet his new sister."

The statement continued, "The Duchess of Cambridge is bringing a spotlight to traditional British clothes such as these simple classics, when children were dressed as children and not as mini-adults. We are delighted for them and wish Prince William, the Duchess of Cambridge and their young family our best wishes on this happy occasion."
