Prince William may have been OK with gifting his firstborn with a simple teddy bear named Charles Stephens, but the fashion world is ready to completely spoil the Prince of Cambridge.

In fact, WWD had some of the world's top fashion designers sketch the best royal baby gift ideas their creative minds could think of. Naturally, the dream presents were luxe, to say the least.

For the newborn's wardrobe, Cynthia Vincent kept things simple with a blue and white elbow patch sweater, while Alice + Olivia sketched an adorable pair of printed trousers—that even came with tiny suspenders and a lion-face button!

On the opposite end of the style spectrum, DSquared2 drew a Mohawk-clad baby wearing a rocker tee that reads: "God Save Granny."

Designer Trina Turk created an entire mini clothing collection, which must have been designed prior to the birth yesterday because she also included items for a baby girl. Perhaps, those onesies might come in handy if the new heir ever gets a little sister.

Nicole Miller

Itty-bitty duds weren't the only gifts thought up for the future king of England. Rebecca Taylor sketched a classic rocking horse (top photo) while Nicole Miller drew a colorful Union Jacket blanket.

Not a bad haul for a baby who is less than 48 hours old.
