Suri Cruise is the adorable child of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Having amassed an impressive shoe collection by the time she was five, the young Suri quickly became known as a budding fashionista as well as a magnet for paparazzi coverage. Often spotted in pink from head-to-toe, it's probably safe to assume people can guess what her favorite color is.
When TomKat announced their pregnancy in October 2005, the already circus-like media frenzy surrounding the couple intensified and tabloid speculation about the couple ran rampant. After Suri was born, Tom and Katie kept her out of the public eye, which only intensified the interest in getting a look at their daughter. Finally, in October 2006, the first photos of Suri went public when Tom and Katie appeared on the cover of Vanity Fair with their baby. Now, Suri is photographed all the time, often seen out having lunch, eating ice cream or shopping with Katie.
In the wake of Tom and Katie's split, Katie currently has primary physical custody of Suri and has enrolled her in a New York City school while Tom and his daughter have been seen getting together and going on various father-daughter trips around the world.
Father and daughter took a private jet to the U.K. for a five-day visit, as well as spending some vacation time in Florida with Katie at Disney World's Magic Kingdom.
Her 7th birthday was spent with her mom and grandma with a trip to a park in upstate NY. Her dad made sure to stay in the loop and discussed with Ryan Seacrest on how they spent their daddy-daughter day before he had to leave to promote the film Oblivion. Although he didn't dish any specific deets on how he and Suri celebrated, we do know that lots of sweet treats were involved.
With parents in the acting world, one might expect Suri to follow her parents' career paths, but nothing's set in stone.
"There's no pressure," Tom said of his daughter and a potential acting career, adding, "All my kids, they'll do what they're going to do. I'll support them in whatever it is they want to do."
With all of the on-camera time Suri's been getting since birth, we wouldn't be surprised.
