Here's one mission Tom Cruise was clearly happy to accept.
With his worldwide promotional tour for his latest hit flick, Mission: Impossible—Ghost Protocol, now behind him, Hollywood's Top Gun took advantage of his free time to take his 5-year-old daughter, Suri, to Disneyland on Wednesday.

What do you get for the girl mother of the girl who has everything? Luckily, that's a conundrum for Tom Cruise, not us.
That's because Brad Pitt's not the only superstar celebrating a birthday today. Katie Holmes is seeing his 48 years on the planet with 33 of her own.
So happy birthday, Katie! You've come a long way since Dawson's Creek—and so has your style. We're guessing her five-year-old stylist (oh yeah, and daughter) gets some of that sartorial credit.

So True? So False? Is Suri Cruise Writing Her Own Children's Book?!

We understand being the celebuspawn of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes might come with some pressure, but writing a book at five years old?!
In Touch magazine's December 5 issue features an article titled, "Suri: The New Dr. Seuss," saying the young doll is "currently penning her own children's book" and that her famous parents "think it's so good, they plan to publish it when she's finished."
The family also allegedly told the mag, "Suri is smart beyond her years. Not only is she writng the book, she's also working on all the illustrations. She is actually very talented for someone so young."
We're not arguing that Suri could have brains behind that beauty, but a book?! We had to find out for sure, and it looks like this rumor is...

Wow, time flies!
It's hard to believe that it's already been five years since Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at the 15th-century Odescalchi Castle in Italy.
But here it is, a whopping 60 months later (forever in Hollywood!) and the dynamic duo that affectionately became known as TomKat is still going strong.
Their secret?
Well, from our vantage point, it seems that despite their busy work schedules, they somehow manage to still find time for each other and their family.
So, happy anniversary, you two, and here's to the next five years together!

Yep. All these ladies (or, in the case of Suri Cruise, ladybug) showed this week that when it comes to one color in particular, they all wear it well.
There was the very pregnant Jennifer Garner garnering attention as she chatted on the phone in L.A., Nicole Richie appearing runway-ready herself as she strolled with hubby Joel Madden following the Louis Vuitton show in the City of Light, Pippa Middleton looking lovely in London while attending the Boodles Boxing Ball and Princess Beatrice proving you don't need anything wacky on your noggin to turn heads during Paris Fashion Week. And last, but certainly not least, little Suri, who showed that, when it comes to style, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Tom Cruise Sizes Up New Movie Role

Must admit, we weren't too shocked when we heard the plot of Tom Cruise's latest big screen flick.
In One Shot, Cruise will play an ex-military homicide investigator in charge of catching a rouge military sniper. Sounds like the dramatic stuff we've grown accustomed to from the movie star. Ya know, macho tough-guy roles that are packed with suspense and Cruise's signature serious look as he gets to the bottom of something.
But there's one par-tick part of this character that will set him apart from Tom's other roles (and Tom himself, too boot!):
