Are Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd Back Together?

It looks like Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd could be heating up again. The old adage says, "A picture says a thousand words," but these photos of the former Dancing With the Stars coworkers reveal a lot more than that! Even though they're holding hands, a source tells E! News that they're simply warming up and not going full-speed ahead on their relationship.

"They've been hanging out again, but at this point it's not serious," the source says.

A rep for Chmerkovskiy had no comment.

The two DWTS pros dated for 10 months in 2012 and 2013, but the 28-year-old blond bombshell and her 35-year-old dancer called it quits and he moved onto Kate Upton. Sadly, that didn't last either.

Back then, a source told E! News that calling Upton and Chmerkovskiy's split a "breakup" would be "a little over the top" because it had never escalated that intensely. "It was never really that serious," the source said, characterizing Kate and Maks' relationship as "more like friends-with-benefits than anything else."

Fans also fell in love with the idea of Maks and Olympian Meryl Davis, as the chemistry between them was undeniable. Unfortunately, both insisted they were just friends despite some amazing Instagram pics! The two reunited after their season of Dancing With the Stars ended, which further fueled romance rumors. But another source confirmed to E! News that they really were keeping it platonic.
