Such is the case for Maksim Chmerkovskiy and his Dancing With the Stars partner Meryl Davis who finally reunited Saturday morning.
A source tells E! News the Olympian picked up Chmerkovskiy from the airport in her hometown near Detroit. She later took him to breakfast before driving him to his scheduled event.
"Got to see this one! Finally!," the professional dancer Instagrammed. "Thanks for breakfast @meryledavis."
Davis seemed to enjoy herself as well by writing, "Missed this one @Maksimc." Awwww.
Although rumors have been swirling that the dancing duo started dating after meeting on the show, a source confirms to E! News that they remain just friends.
Davis beat out fellow finalists Candace Cameron Bure and Amy Purdy to take home the top trophy on the show's 18th season.
It was the first win for Chmerkovskiy who appeared on 13 seasons of the show.
"[It's] everything I thought it would be," he told E! News after winning. "This season's been amazing."
