Amy Adams has taken on many roles, but her latest as the new face of Max Mara just may be her chicest yet.
The luxury fashion house has tapped the 39-year-old actress to front its fall 2014 ads, and while we love Amy on the big screen, we're also huge fans of her on billboards and in fashion glossies.
In the ads shot by Mario Sorrenti, Amy poses clad in the brand's classic outwear with some of Max Mara's biggest accessories for the season: covetous goodies like sunglasses and a luxe caramel leather handbag.
Scoring a major fashion campaign is a big coup for an actress like Amy Adams, especially since most of the big labels have gone with supermodels for their fall ads. Gisele Bündchen, Cara Delevingne and Joan Smalls are just a few of the models who have been nabbing campaigns left and right.
The brand's worldwide president of public relations and communications, Giorgio Guidotti, explained to WWD why they were eager to work with an A-lister actress like Amy as opposed to a supermodel.
"Jennifer Garner was the first celebrity we worked with [on the accessories campaigns] and the feedback we received was excellent both in terms of sell-in and sell-out, and in terms of credibility," said Guidotti.
Translation? Major A-list actresses bring in big bucks for brands like Max Mara.
Amy has also been in ads for Band of Outsiders and Lacoste, and something tells us this isn't her last fashion campaign.
