This year's Golden Globe Awards were filled with hilariously candid moments and belly laughs, thanks to cohosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

The former Saturday Night Live stars turned the Beverly Hilton into a literally LOL-fest with their playful jabs at all the nominees.

But once the two ladies finished roasting the awards show guests, the first trophy of the evening was given to none other than Jennifer Lawrence for her supporting actress role in American Hustle.

"Thank you! Oh my god HFPA you really are just too kind," she told the star-studded crowd.

"It's so wonderful, so thank you and thank you to the cast, you guys are all so incredible and fun and funny and nice. Thank you to my family and my team and I'm sorry I'm shaking so much, don't ever do this again! Okay thank you, thank you!"

Following Lawrence's earnest, heartfelt speech, Jacqueline Bisset dropped an S-bomb after she earned the award for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Mini-Series for her work in Dancing on the Edge.

Meanwhile, Behind the Candelabra won top honors for Best TV Mini-Series or Movie and Elizabeth Moss beat out the rest for Best Actress in a TV Mini-Series or Movie for her performance in Top of the Lake.

And what better way for Breaking Bad to end but on a high note, right? (No pun intended.)

The series won for Best TV Series in the drama category and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association also gave a nod to Bryan Cranston for his performance as the main role.

During the cast's acceptance speech, Aaron Paul left one final comment for viewers and fans alike: "Yah, bitch!" How fitting.

U2 won for Best Original Song for their track "Ordinary Love" for Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. The band beat out Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, and Coldplay for the coveted statue.

And during Bono's speech, there was a blink-and-you-missed-it moment where the camera panned to Gwyneth Paltrow sitting next to Chris Martin.

The notoriously private couple didn't walk the red carpet earlier in the evening, but looked flawless in their evening attire.

John Voight's win for Best Supporting Actor in a Television Series for his work on Ray Donovan caused gasps in the ballroom. The award marks the actor's tenth nomination and fourth win.

American Hustle continued with their sweep when Amy Adams won Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical.

The actress also called Kevin Spacey the "best playdate ever."

After undergoing a drastic physical change to play a transgender person, Jared Leto won the award for Best Supporting Actor for his work on Dallas Buyers Club.

"It was a very transformative role… One of the things I did was wax my entire body including my eyebrows," he shared.

"I'm just fortunate that it wasn't a period piece so I didn't have to do a full Brazilian [wax]. Ladies, you know what I'm talking about though…and so do some of you men, I think."

In one of the more shocking awards handed out Sunday evening, Andy Samberg won for his acting on Brooklyn Nine Nine. The trophy marks his first Golden Globe and first nomination. The newcomer series also won for Best Television Series, Comedy later on in the night.

Michael Douglas won for Best Actor in a Mini Series or Movie for his portrayal of Liberace. He was up against his costar Matt Damon in the category as well.

"The only reason you're not up here is because I had more sequins," Douglas told Damon during his speech.

Diane Keaton accepted the Cecil B. DeMille Award on behalf of Woody Allen—complete with a slew of curse words and a few awkward singing moments.

Leonardo DiCaprio took home an award for his starring role in Wolf of Wall Street. This marks his ninth Golden Globe nomination, and second win.
