Meryl Streep loves a good selfie!

While at the 2014 Palm Springs International Film Festival Gala on Saturday night, the 64-year-old Oscar winner took a second to pose for some cell phone pics with her August: Osage County costar Margo Martindale.

Streep, who famously snapped a selfie with Hillary Clinton back in December 2012 while attending the Kennedy Center Honors, was caught sticking her arm out to snap a few photos of herself and Martindale on her phone, proving celebs really are just like us when it comes to selfies.

Perhaps Streep is ready to participate in the Selfie Olympics?

At this weekend's gala, Streep was honored with the Icon Award.

While accepting her award, the last one of the evening, Streep joked, "It's the end of the evening, I realize, and that means I'm either at the top of the heap or at the bottom of the barrel. But I'm really honored, honored to be here. I feel so lucky to have gotten so many chances over and over and over and over again. I feel like I'm an example now...that you just can't put those old gals out to pasture."

"I've been so inspired by the work of so many people, this year especially," the actress added. "It's quite humbling."

Other stars who were honored during the PSIFF gala included Steve McQueen (Director of the Year), Lupita Nyong'o (Breakthrough Performance Award), Bruce Dern (Career Achievement Award), Thomas Newman (The Frederick Loewe Award for Film Composing), Julia Roberts (Spotlight Award), Matthew McConaughey (Desert Palm Achievement Award), U2 (Sonny Bono Visionary Award, the cast of American Hustle and Tom Hanks (Chairman's Award).
