Do-gooder Charlize Theron just doesn't quit!
Her new bright and sunny Toms shoes actually represent something very serious.
The 37-year old Oscar winner's third collaboration with the philanthropic shoe company benefits the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project (CTAOP), which Charlize created in 2007 to help keep African youth safe from HIV/AIDS.
The partnership with Toms, who matches every single shoe purchase by donating a pair to a child in need, couldn't be a more perfect pairing.
Charlize told us, "We have very similar philosophies and I think, you know, I think our passion lies with youth and I think when we got together that we saw great opportunity to enhance each other's dreams of change in a way that might not have been able to happen if we didn't partner."
She also joked with Toms founder Blake Mycoskie saying, "I'm not ever going to get married, but this is the closest I'm going to get to a marriage that actually works."
The shoes, which feature the sunny CTAOP logo and the organization's motto "Reach Out, Think Beyond, and Look Within" written inside, will be available in stores and on the Toms website starting in March.
