Those days are over. But now, Suri's mom is passionately locking lips (onstage, of course) with a new man: Josh Hamilton.
The duo sexed up Broadway Monday night at the preview opening of their play, Dead Accounts.
The Dawson's Creek alum stars as Lorna, the sister of a con man played by Tony winner Norbert Leo Butz. She dressed down for the role, looking very girl next door in sneakers, jeans and a cardigan.
Holmes did change into a LBD for the "pretty chill" but elegant afterparty at the Lambs Club, where, according to a source, she sweetly chatted about the play with her fellow revelers and was "lovely to everyone."
The insider did not, however, see Holmes and Hamilton spend any time together at the shindig.
This is Holmes' first acting role since the end of her six-year marriage to Cruise. It's also her first time back on Broadway since 2008, when she debuted on the Great White Way in a revival of Arthur Miller's All My Sons.
We're glad to see Katie doing what she does best.
Dead Accounts officially opens Nov. 29.
