Christine Ouzounian might be out of a job but she certainly seems to be leading a nice life.
Ben Affleck's former nanny took her brand-new Lexus convertible out for a spin Tuesday before meeting up with friends for lunch at Il Pastaio, E! News has learned. The 28-year-old drove with the top down to the Beverly Hills restaurant, where she grabbed lunch with two friends. An eyewitness tells E! News that Ouzounian sat outdoors while enjoying a glass of rosé with a salad.
"Every so often she would stop talking so she could check her reflection in the outside window of the restaurant," the eyewitness tells us. "She would then take a selfie of herself."
Ouzounian, who was wearing heels and makeup, was "acting as if she wanted to be seen," the eyewitness adds, but unfortunately "no one else at the restaurant noticed who she was." That didn't stop her from having fun with her friends, though, as she finished three glasses of wine by the end of the meal.
That's one way to celebrate!
Although Ouzounian is at the center of Affleck and Jennifer Garner's nannygate scandal, she seems to be doing just fine, given her new luxurious ride. Apparently, the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star is doing OK, too, with his BFF Matt Damon suggesting that Affleck is holding up.
"He's great. He's great," the Academy Award winner said, via Yahoo! Movies. "He's got a big smile on his face."
Affleck, who has denied all of the accusations against him, found himself in hot water again after a picture of Ouzounian on a private jet with him surfaced Tuesday. A source told E! News, however, that there was nothing romantic about their brief getaway, during which they were not alone but rather accompanied by other members of Ben's entourage—and, at one point, Tom Brady.
A source told us that the 42-year-old actor was scheduled to make an appearance at a charity poker tournament in Las Vegas. Affleck left a family trip in the Bahamas and Ouzounian joined him on a private jet to get back to L.A.
"It was not done in secret," the source dished. "If they were trying to hide something they wouldn't go to a charity event where there were a lot of other people."
A source added that Garner fired Ouzounian after learning of their trip.
