Jennifer Garner rocketed to fame when she starred on the hit TV series, Alias from 2001 to 2006.
The J.J. Abrams series earned Garner four Emmy nominations, four Golden Globe nominations (she won one) and two SAG nominations (also one win). Jennifer also made her mark as a sex symbol, being voted one of People's "50 Most Beautiful People," and one of the "Sexiest Women" by Maxim Magazine, ranking #44 on the "Maxim Hot List" in 2008.
But having first gotten her start on ABC's Felicity (another Abrams show) and a host of other movie and TV appearances through the 1990s, Garner successfully transformed herself into a movie star, taking on leading roles in 13 Going on 30, Juno and Dallas Buyers Club.
These days, as well, Garner is as well known for being a doting mom to her three children with husband Ben Affleck as she is as a movie star. Before saying "I Do" to Affleck, Garner was briefly married to Felicity co-star Scott Foley from 2000 to 2004. After they divorced, Jennifer dated Alias co-star Michael Vartan before settling down with her Daredevil co-star, Affleck. Ben and Jennifer married in June 2005 and soon started their family when their first child was born later that year.
Fast forward to today and Garner can often be found chaperoning her kids—Violet, Samuel and Seraphina—around Los Angeles. The busy mom made time to partner with Halle Berry in support of tougher California laws on members of the paparazzi. After pleading for change at the state's capital, a new law was signed in order to protect children from harassing photogs.
