This week in best of the dressed-to-impress, we were taken with stars' structured minis, pretty pantsuits and intricate midi-length frocks—along with the palette of daylight and midnight hues. With that, here are five ladies who got the trends du jour particularly right.
First, we have to give it to Blake Lively, who's been stunning in printed frocks all week at press appearances for her new flick Age of Adaline. Last night's look was no different: The hot mom donned a sunny David Koma number with fun, bauble-embellished Sophia Webster platforms.
Another pretty mama alert: Olivia Wilde has a major Marchesa moment at Finding Neverland's opening night in New York City, where she wore a fringed, flapperesque midi that showcased her trim post-baby figure.
In Los Angeles for the Avengers: Age of Ultron premiere, Scarlett Johansson turned heads in a sculptural Stella McCartney midi featuring a high-low effect hem, which she paired with strappy gold sandals by Sophia Webster.
Meanwhile, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley took to Burberry's star-studded London in Los Angeles event wearing a structured print mini from the Burberry Prorsum line. The fete, which was held at a luxuriously transformed Griffith Park, also saw the likes of Victoria Beckham (with her sweet family in tow), Anna Wintour, Jaime King (in a jaw-dropping, sheer maternity look) and Mila Kunis.
Another Rose wowed us this week too, with not one but three chic looks to choose from: Ultimately, Rose Byrne's sleek navy-and-black pantsuit by (birthday girl!) Victoria Beckham, which she wore with T-strap pumps and a red envelope clutch at a party to honor the designer in Beverly Hills, caught hold of our wish-we-could-wear-that imaginations. (Seriously, that's on our get-it-for-less list this weekend.)
