A NYC native, the young starlet was first honored for her acting skills at 11-years-old with an Independent Spirit Award nomination for her role in Manny & Lo.
After a slew of other starring roles, Johansson effortlessly made the transition from child star to serious actress at 18-years-old in Sofia Coppola's 2003 film Lost in Translation opposite Bill Murray. For this, Johansson was nominated for a Golden Globe and won a BAFTA Award.
