America has been under the spell of Tim Urban and his "aw, shucks" grin with seemingly no end in sight. A favorite this year (he was always trending on Twitter during performance nights) many seemed shocked to see him go. Others thought it was high time. Either way, we had to say goodbye to our Zac Efron-esque contestant when he was voted off during last night's Idol Gives Back special.

And yet, his optimistic attitude did not crack.  When we talked to Tim earlier, we got more of his happy-go-lucky "I'm gonna make it after all" manner. Except when one certain website was mentioned…

If you are unaware of what Vote For the Worst is, well, it's pretty self explanatory. The website picks the "worst" of the group, and then encourages America to vote for them. Basically, they are trying to keep on who they think is the weak link for no other reason than their personal enjoyment. If you call that enjoyment. But hey, to each his own. When it was mentioned that Tim had been the one to vote for on the website for the past nine weeks, his shiny disposition finally dimmed.

"I'm not excited I was on their website. It's really not anything that anybody should be proud of. I really didn't like being on there," he said somewhat bitterly.  "Basically I was working my hardest to get off of it. I'm actually kind of sad that I was on that website." Tim Urban kind of sad? No, no. This just won't do. No matter, he perked right back up when asked about his future with music and maybe even acting.

"I would love to pursue music, and I'm hoping that door opens up. I've always had a desire to act and to be on that side of the entertainment industry," Tim eagerly shared. "I would be really excited if I got the opportunity to do that as well. I'm just waiting to see what happens. I'm open to any of that at this point."

Going into elimination night, Tim was so jazzed about Idol Gives Back that he almost forgot what he was actually there for! "The performances and videos were so awesome, I almost lost sight of the fact that it was a results show," he laughed. "I was a little sad to not sing one last time on that stage. Being apart of Idol Gives Back really softened the blow."

Tim continued on with more adorable hopefulness than a puppy covered in glitter and stuffed with world peace. "I really couldn't help but smile, even when they were criticizing me. You've got to enjoy it as much as you can." Even during the backlash when this photo hit the net? "I knew it would come out eventually," Tim admitted. "I didn't really expect it to be as big as it was. I just took it in stride. It's part of the show, everyone's looking for an extra story. I try not to worry about it too much." Can't be too upset about abs like that, we must say. Albeit creepily, because Tim is only 19. But still…

So, who does he think will be the final two?

"Honestly, it's really hard to say. Any moment, any week, they could just step out there and blow America away and show them something incredible. I'm rooting for everyone to step up and make this really difficult." Well, someone needs to before it becomes any clearer that this will be a Crystal-Lee showdown.

Did you cry tears of grief or tears of joy when Tim was eliminated? And do you think anyone will do something to make this a difficult competition going into the top six? Pop on down to the comments and let your voice be heard!
