Kathie Lee Gifford made a pretty huge blunder this morning on Today when she asked Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted star Martin Short about his wife Nancy Dolman. The problem? Dolman died of ovarian cancer in 2010.

Private Practice will return to ABC this fall for a sixth season, but the show is losing at least one of its core cast members. Sources confirm to us that Tim Daly (Pete) will not return to Private Practice. And guess what? It seems he's a teensy bit miffed about how he found out.
