We just caught up with So You Think You Can Dance star choreographer Shane Sparks and asked him if he could talk about Katie Holmes' upcoming appearance on the hit Fox dance series, and he actually did!

But what did Shane say about the megaceleb's appearance on SYTYCD? Read on...

Shane said, "Katie Holmes on the show? I think if she can dance it would be hot! She looks like she could get down. I think it would be dope to have more celebrities come on our show—even better, we should have a celebrity SYTYCD!"

Erm...Celebrity SYTYCD already exists, and it's a lesser show, called Dancing With the Stars, but your point is taken.

As for Katie, according to Us Weekly, Katie will be doing a version of Judy Garland's song "Get Happy," choreographed by Tyce Diorio and directed by Nigel Lythgoe. The performance may air as early as tonight, and if it does, we'll be there, live on the scene with the latest.

Are you excited for Katie to do a little retro Broadway number? And could Shane Sparks really be as adorable as he seems? Post in the comments!
