We'll get to what Mo'Nique has planned for her possible acceptance speech tonight in a moment, but first we've got Oprah Winfrey news.

The talk show titan was the big guest partygoer yesterday when she showed up at a luncheon in honor of Precious star and first-time Oscar nominee Mo'Nique at Philippe Chow in West Hollywood...

"Oprah arrived after the luncheon had already begun and caused a stir but went straight to sit next to Mo'Nique at her table," an eyewitness says. "Waiters tried to bring over some food, but Oprah waved her hand and passed on dessert."

She did, however, sip some bubbly during a toast to Mo'Nique.

During the get-together, Estee Lauder honcho John Demsey presented a $25,000 check in Mo'Nique's name from M·A·C Cosmetics to Women Alive, a coalition for women of color living with HIV.

Guests at the party, produced by EMC/Bowery, included fellow Precious Oscar nominee Gaby Sidibe as well as Gayle King, Alfre Woodard, Natalie Cole and Macy Gray, among others.

Now, for that acceptance speech, Mo'Nique—the funnylady has nothing planned. "It's just going to happen—if it happens," she said at the Film Independent Spirit Awards.

But she's got plenty of material planned for her upcoming comedy tour.

"Stand-up comedy is my baby. That is my love. That is my therapy," Mo'Nique said. "Baby, if you tinkle easily, wear your Depends!"

Don't say she didn't warn you.
