To get the latest word on the street, we spoke to the host, Steve "so hot it hurts to look at him" Jones, plus judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger about the possibility of the legendary diva appearing on the show.
Oh, and we also heard Steve's theories on Paula and Simon Cowell's epic romance. "He's like a schoolboy on the playground poking the girl he fancies with a stick," he tells us. "He just lives for angering her."
