It's a regular battle of the baby pics today!

You know, dem babies.
Will Mariah Carey Join The X Factor? Randy Jackson Sounds Off!
Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger out, Mariah Carey in?!
Now that the dust has finally settled after The X Factor bloodbath, during which it was announced judges Abdul and Scherzinger and host Steve Jones would not be returning for season two, one question remains: who will be filling the seats next to Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid when The X Factor returns? The one replacement suggestion on everyone's lips? Superstar Carey, who was rumored to be joining the cast back in season one.
American Idol judge and Carey's manager Randy Jackson spoke with reporters on a conference call today about the possibility of Mimi joining The X Factor's judging panel, whether he's noticed a change in Jennifer Lopez since her split with Marc Anthony, and more...
RIP Don Cornelius: Five Mega-Stars Who Rode the Soul Train
When Don Cornelius promised the "hottest jams and stars in the world," he wasn't messing around.
The creator and longtime face of Soul Train may be gone, but he made a lasting impact on pop culture with his R&B-championing song-and-dance show and subsequent Soul Train Music Awards.
Over the show's 35 years on the air, some of the biggest names in music hit the stage that Cornelius built, from Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin to R. Kelly and T.I.. It's pretty much impossible to narrow it down, but here are five other acts who boarded the train early in their careers—and rode it right to superstardom:
Weekend Mail! Will Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Be Added to the List of Hollywood Breakups?
Dear Ted:
With all these splits lately, I wanted to ask about a couple that I thought for sure would never last, but keep surprising me: Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon. It seemed like B.S. when they got married, especially after only six weeks! But they seem genuinely in love whenever I see them. Are they a cougar-cub couple that'll actually last? Love from my three kitties!
—Bobbi
Dear Meow:
While the pair does make an unexpected match, having kids does seem to be a sign of commitment. For now, at least. Not saying it won't last, but only time will tell. For the time being, let's just be happy for the couple and celebrate their staying together amidst all the H'wood breakups! Who'd have thunk it with that loopy gal?
Dear Ted:
As much as I love Naya Rivera and her talent—how much do you think dating a writer has boosted her story lines this year?

Week in Pictures: Miranda Kerr, Mariah Carey and Selma Blair Bring Out the Babies!
A whole lot of adorableness came our way these last seven days thanks to several cute kids who successfully managed to steal the spotlight from their famous folks.
Whether it was Miranda Kerr's sweet son Flynn, already looking like a model himself; Selma Blair's little king Arthur, whose grin got us grinning; or Mariah Carey's son Moroccan, who clearly has a sense of style, we just couldn't stop saying awww.
Believe it or not, though, there was way more than beautiful babies that got our attention this week. Check out these galleries and see. Sure, maybe not as cute, but still pretty cool.
Crooner-in-Chief! Watch President Obama Break Into Song After Schmoozing Nick Cannon, Mariah Carey
Politics aside, this is pretty awesome.
Gone are the days when stars breathlessly serenade the president of the United States. And here are the days that the president of the United States tentatively belts out a little Al Green to a roomful of stars, as Barack Obama did at a fundraiser at New York City's legendary Apollo Theater last night.
Anyone else suddenly thinking that "Let's Stay Together" wouldn't be such a bad campaign slogan for '12?
Nick Cannon Home From the Hospital After "Mild Kidney Failure," Already Planning Return to Work
Nick Cannon is out of the woods.
After undergoing successful treatment for kidney failure, the America's Got Talent host was released from Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center over the weekend and is already plotting his return to the airwaves.
Well, he was strong enough to tweet his congrats to Jay-Z and Beyoncé yesterday...
Nick Cannon Has Surgery, Mariah Carey Tweets "Good Prognosis"
Nick Cannon is on the mend—and should be on his way home soon!
The America's Got Talent host, hospitalized earlier this week with kidney failure, underwent an apparently not-too-invasive procedure today and was doing well enough afterword to update fans on his condition himself.
"Just left the operating table and I was awake during the whole procedure. #OUCH," tweeted Cannon, who, as Mariah Carey's latest twitpic shows, is keeping his IV close but his gadgets closer.
Nick Cannon, Still in Hospital, Gets "Back to Business"
Nick Cannon isn't going to let a little thing like hospitalization get in the way of good grooming.
"Getting back to business," the impossibly upbeat America's Got Talent host tweeted from a Los Angeles hospital today, along with a photo of a pal taking a pair of clippers to his head.
We're happy to see that "mild kidney failure" is apparently no match for Cannon's grooming routine!
What Exactly Happened to Nick Cannon's Kidneys?
What really happened to Nick Cannon with his kidney failure? Is that code for something more serious?

I am trying to find a way to include the word "dembabies" in this answer, because otherwise Mariah Carey will find where I live and stand on my lawn and shriek until my front windows shatter. But I can't, so I'll just get right to the point: Probably not ...
