What's Joss Whedon's Top-Secret Post-Avengers Project?
When does a new Joss Whedon movie, TV show, web series, appearance, blog post, sneeze or sniffle ever amount to Nothing?
Only when the word is in the title!
The Buffy and Firefly mastermind revealed today that, in addition to directing the highly anticipated Avengers movie, he recently completed principal photography on a modern-day take on Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing.
And you may find that a few of the actors he cast sound familiar...

Charisma Carpenter Dishes on Supernatural's Buffy Reunion!
"Excuse me, I have to call everyone I have ever met. Right now."
This iconic line from Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Cordelia Chase basically sums up our reaction when news broke that the CW's Supernatural would be staging a mini Buffy reunion, with James Marsters (Spike!) and Charisma Carpenter (Cordy!) guest starring as a wicked married couple going through a hostile divorce. (Buffy and Angel must be so jealous, by the way).
In honor of this joyous union between two cult favorite shows, we chatted with Carpenter about teaming up with Marsters and what it was like working with Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki.
First Look: Supernatural's Buffy the Vampire Slayer Reunion With James Marsters & Charisma Carpenter!

Once More, With Video! Sarah Michelle Gellar Reveals Whether Ringer Will Do a Musical Episode
Dying to see Sarah Michelle Gellar in another musical episode on television?
Well, don't hold your breath!
The Ringer star talked with us in a co-exclusive with EW about why Buffy didn't work as a movie, the "far-reaching impact" of the show and the freedom that comes after slaying vampires for seven seasons. But most notably, she revealed which BtVS episode she was "less than thrilled" about...
Will Freddie Prinze Jr. Come to Ringer? Sarah Michelle Gellar Opens Up on Buffy, Marriage and More
Newsflash (if you've been living at the bottom of the sea with no internet): Sarah Michelle Gellar is coming back to TV!
The Buffy star is poised to return in the CW's new suspense drama Ringer, and our E! News cameras caught all the action as she sat down with Entertainment Weekly for the magazine's cover story, out now.
So what does she have to say about her time on Buffy, her return to All My Children (spoiler alert: Find out who she's playing!) and how she's kept her marriage so private? Plus, what's this about the possibility of hubby Freddie Prinze Jr. coming on Ringer?
First, the quote that shocked us the most:
Are Zoe Saldana and Milla Jovovich Hollywood's Most Badass Ladies?
Zoe Saldana is in yet another movie where she plays a badass, Colombiana. That's four movies so far. Is there a female out there that is known for being an action star? Milla Jovovich for example?
—E.W., via the inbox
You really hit the zombie on the head. With four Resident Evil flicks under her skinny supermodel belt, and a fifth in the planning stages, Milla Jovovich certainly fits the description of a female action star.
If four movies is the magic number, then, sure, Saldana is in the same club. But is it a two-person club?
Three Joss Whedon Alums Heading to Supernatural! Find Out Who, and What Jared Padalecki Thinks
Buffy fans, did you ever fantasize that Cordelia and Spike would run away and get hitched? No? Not even just a little bit?
Well, apparently the creative minds over at Supernatural did, 'cause they are bringing together a pretty fantastic Buffy/Angel duo: Charisma Carpenter and James Marsters. And yes, they will be married.
And that's not the only Joss Whedon alum casting.

Sarah Michelle Gellar Answers the Big Question: Why Is She Back on TV?
"It was such a train I couldn't get off of and stop and appreciate."
This is what Sarah Michelle Gellar has to say about her very early days on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, when the then 18-year-old actress leapt head first into her career-making role as TV's best-ever butt-kicking blonde. But this time around, with the CW's new Hitchcockian drama Ringer, Gellar says everything is different. "I'm having the best time...It's so nice to be able to sit back and appreciate what's happening."
So what made her want to return to TV now? And how is she coping with her first job back after giving birth to daughter Charlotte Grace two years ago?
I sat down with Sarah Michelle and Nestor Carbonell (that's Richard Freakin' Alpert to you Lost fans!) to get some answers:

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Star Calls Movie Reboot a "Hideous Idea"
It will be a cold day in Hell(mouth) before Buffy the Vampire Slayer's stars endorse a movie remake without its mastermind, Joss Whedon.
Like his costar Sarah Michelle Gellar, Buffy alum Anthony Head (Watcher Rupert Giles) is returning to broadcast TV this fall, and we asked him about the happy coincidence after the TCA Summer Press Tour panel for his new series, Free Agents.
Unlike his promising NBC show—an American reboot of his British sitcom—the Buffy reboot is definitely doomed. At least that's what Giles would say.
His alter ego doesn't mince words either: "It's a hideous idea," Anthony told us about the Vampire Slayer film project.
