Alexander Skarsgård just got even more perfect!

In a new interview with the London Evening Standard, the smoking hot True Blood star makes an impressive feminist statement about gender inequality in the entertainment industry.

"Sexism is a big problem in Hollywood," the sexy 38-year-old actor said. "Boys can talk about sex and have sex in films and it's cool but when girls do it they are just sluts. It's so prudish and puritanical. Hollywood is difficult for women—people making films want super-hot, young girls, and then there are fewer great roles for women aged over 40."

Well said, Alex!

Meanwhile, Skarsgård stayed coy about his girlfriend Alexa Chung but did reveal to the paper that he "would like children."

Skarsgård and Chung were recently spotted attending the annual Glastonbury music festival together in England. "I'm not into Kanye West and not a good dancer but loved the Buzzcocks, one of my favorite bands of all time, and Perfume Genius," he told the mag.

As for whether or not he gets protective of Chung when they become the subject of media attention, he dished, "I do but the healthiest thing is not to dip into it, otherwise all the noise out there would drive me crazy. If you fall in love you figure it out and make it work."
