A picture is worth a thousand words. And two pictures, well...

Check out the newest cathartic teaser posters for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, released today by Lionsgate, especially the one featuring Jennifer Lawrence and Willow Shields.

Styled like an old-fashioned portrait, the new art debuted in connection with the 2015 Cannes Film Festival and features Katniss Everdeen standing protectively behind her little (yet wise beyond her years) sister, Primrose.

Photographed by Tim Palen, Katniss sports her usual fishnet braid and wears a multilayered, armored suit for protection. Prim sits in a chair in front of her brave sister, with a worried expression written all over her face. This teaser pic is surely alluding to the troubles ahead as Katniss and District 13 prepare to engage in an all-out revolution against the oppressive Capitol.

The second poster showcases, as expected, the now fully afire mocking jay, the hybrid breed made from the combination of mockingbirds and jabberjays that became associated with Katniss and therefore became the symbol of the revolution. Katniss has a special bond with these creatures as they remind her of her father and their ability to memorize tunes almost saved the life of sweet Rue in the first film.

In previous posters, Lawrence took center stage, holding a bow and arrow, her usual weapon of choice based off her stellar skills. Katniss' romance with Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) has also taken precedence several times with an epic image of the duo preparing for their Victory Tour, among other battle-related teaser photos.

But as we know, it's the fierce bond between the two sisters that will be pivotal in the final installment in the epic saga.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 hits theaters Nov. 20, 2015.
