American Idol is coming to an end. Yes, after 15 seasons the talent competition will come to a close next year. But don't cry for American Idol. It's had quite a ride and that will certainly be celebrated next year.

"It's going to be a huge year. Huge. I actually have a feeling we're going to be swamped with people auditioning because it's such a big, big finale," Keith Urban told E! News.

So what else can we expect besides a rush of talent? How about a balance of "talent competition and memories"? "It's going to b a great year," Harry Connick Jr. told us.

It's really the end…for now. If this season has taught us anything it's that TV shows never really have endings. Twin Peaks. Full House. The X-Files. 24. Everything old is new again. Could the same thing happen for American Idol? "I think you never really know if it will be the last season," Jennifer Lopez teased.

Count her fellow judge Keith Urban in for a comeback. "You can't have the reunion tour until you have the farewell tour, right? I think next year is going to be such a celebration of the history of Idol, the impact it's had on America and pop music," he told us. "I hope all the judges get to come back in various ways. It'd be great to see all that too."
