Lady Gaga is checking in to American Horror Story with the new season, Hotel, and the members of Ryan Murphy's AHS troupe are very ready to welcome the Grammy winner.

"What could be better?" Sarah Paulson told us on the red carpet of American Horror Story: Freak Show's PaleyFest panel. At the panel, Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson were announced as members of American Horror Story: Hotel's cast and Jessica Lange confirmed her departure from the series. Murphy took to Twitter to reveal Wes Bentley will also be part of the cast.

"Lady Gaga couldn't be more theatrical…I think nobody does it better than Lady Gaga. She'll fit right in," Paulson said. But will Paulson share the screen with the "Born This Way" singer? That remains a mystery. See what she and the rest of the cast had to say about their futures with the series.

As for Kathy Bates, the Oscar and Emmy winner said she's very excited to have Gaga in the AHS family. "I'm a big fan of hers, my jaw dropped when I saw her on the Oscars," Bates said. Gaga announced her involvement and the show's subtitle in a spooky video on her Twitter page. Typical Gaga.

The 13-episode season will begin filming this summer in Los Angeles with an October premiere date on FX scheduled.
