Watch: Who's Coming Back for "American Horror Story: Hotel"?

American Horror Story: Hotel is shaping up to be a very different season.

We already know Jessica Lange is officially out— "Yes, I'm done," she told the audience at PaleyFest.—and Lady Gaga is in with Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson joining her. But what about the other American Horror Story mainstays?

We took that question directly to them on the PaleyFest red carpet. Click play on the video above to find out what Denis O'Hare, Michael Chiklis, Sarah Paulson, Finn Wittrock, Evan Peters and Kathy Bates had to say about their futures with the show.

Lange was open about her desire to leave the show after season four, but still told us she was open to discussing the idea of returning with Ryan Murphy after the fourth season wrapped.

"We've had a great run here. I have absolutely loved doing these four characters that I've had the opportunity to play. In all the madness, I've loved the writers, my actors, Ryan and the whole, I mean, insanity of it, shooting here, shooting in New Orleans, the stories, everything," Lange said.

Here's what else we know:

Paulson is attached to star opposite John Travolta and Cuba Gooding Jr. in Murphy's American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson as prosecutor Marcia Clark.

Emma Roberts is starring in Murphy's Scream Queens, a new horror comedy anthology series on Fox, opposite Lea Michele and Jamie Lee Curtis. That's filming in New Orleans now, so she could wrap in time to start shooting American Horror Story: Hotel. AHS: Hotel is set to begin production in Los Angeles this summer with an October premiere date.

A totally new(ish) cast wouldn't be surprising. At the 2015 Winter TCA Press Tour, FX boss John Landgraf teased season five would be "very different" and that there would be an "unusually large reinvention" between the fourth and fifth season similar to AHS: Coven and AHS: Freak Show.
