Mark Consuelos can sleep anywhere, anytime.

And, according to his wife Kelly Ripa, it's becoming a bit of a problem. The bubbly Live! With Kelly and Michael host appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Thursday and discussed the soap opera star's possible sleep disorder. While discussing a recent getaway, the New York City-based TV personality told Jimmy Kimmel, "We actually got to go away from Presidents' Weekend. I never have those days off, but once in a while you'll have celebrities—you probably have this here, too—where they can't come. They can't make it. So we got a long weekend and we wound up going to Turks and Caicos, which was amazing!"

"It was so funny because our friends were texting us, like, 'Don' come home! My face hurts!' 'I tried to hail a cab and I died of a heart attack,'" Ripa said. "It's like these horrified texts about how cold it was."

Ripa, Consuelos and their three children made the most their mini-break. "The kids sort of do what they do, and when you're on a trip with your kids, it is just that—it is a trip, not a vacation, because they bust your balls the entire time, from morning till night," Ripa, 44, explained. "But we still had a good time."

"The kids did a lot of swimming. They looked for conk," Ripa added.

And the kids' parents?

"I just sort of laid out and Mark slept the entire time," Ripa said. "He slept the entire time he was there."

NEWS: Sarah Silverman questions ex-boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel's narcolepsy diagnosis

"Is he exhausted in general?" Kimmel asked.

"I always say there's narcolepsy, but I call It 'markolepsy' because he falls asleep constantly," Ripa said.

As an example, Ripa recalled that her husband has fallen asleep at "any awards show ever in the history of time—even when he's been nominated." In fact, Ripa said, Consuelos, 43, has been "out like a light."

The examples didn't end there.

"One year we went to a dinner party at Gelman's house—my executive producer, Michael Gelman. We had this very lovely dinner party with a whole group of people, and Mark excused himself and went to the bathroom and never came back. And I'm thinking, 'Oh my gosh! He's horribly sick! What's going on in there?' So I excuse myself quietly and i go to check on him. The door is locked and I can hear [snoring] through Gelman's baby monitor. He is snoring and he's out like a light," the morning show host divulged.

"So I said to Michael Gelman, 'Michael, can you come back here?' Instead of covertly coming to help me, he [loudly asked], 'What do you need? What's going on?' I said, 'I think Mark's asleep. We need to break in.' We got the key, opened the door, and Mark's asleep and on the floor. I said, 'What is with you? You haven't even had anything to drink yet!' He goes, 'That bath mat looked so cozy.' I swear to God!"

Kimmel—who has diagnosed himself as narcoleptic—can relate to Consuelos. "I do that kind of thing, you know," he told Ripa. "I mean, I've never fallen asleep in somebody's bathroom."

Consuelos is just as susceptible to falling asleep when he's on the road. "He would like to fall asleep but I scratch his head. He'll say, 'Can you do me a favor and scratch the head?'" Ripa explained. The talk show host then told Kimmel, "I offer to drive, but he would rather fall asleep at the wheel than let me drive."

Ripa reiterated that she thinks Consuelos "has narcolepsy," adding, "He's never been diagnosed."

Why not? "That would require him going to the doctor," she said.

As another example, she said, "He will drink coffee and immediately fall asleep!"

Kimmel joked that Consuelos' ability to fall asleep easily must come in handy in bed. "He'll wake up for certain things and then immediately he goes right back to sleep," Ripa said. "It's kind of unbelievable.

"That's not just him. That's all of us!" Kimmel said with a laugh. "That's kind of a hallmark."

Said Ripa, "I feel better knowing I'm not alone."
