Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have been known to have a few verbal smackdowns during their marriage.

Whether disagreeing over birthday parties, babysitters or even a baked potato, viewers have witnessed the couple struggle to make peace too many times.

Luckily, the only fights these reality stars were close to over the weekend were with a few heavyweight champions.

In celebration of a new year, the True Tori stars joined best friends Jessica and Wolf Amer for a night out in Las Vegas where they witnessed the UFC 182 main event at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino.

"What a great night with my gorgeous wife and awesome fights at #UFC182," McDermott shared on Instagram while posing with his special lady. "Thanks babe. And thanks @DanaWhiteUFC."

Spelling herself also looked stress-free while she posed close to the ring in a white dress. "#UFC182 fight night is ON! Loving it!" she shared with fans. "#TheMainEvent #JonesvsCormier Thanks @DanaWhiteUFC"

Perhaps it's more proof that the couple is moving forward with their relationship after a difficult year that was chronicled on LifetimeTV.

After experiencing so much heartache and stress on camera, McDermott decided at the end of 2014 that he couldn't and wouldn't continue with the show for another season. "I've come to the conclusion that for me, yes, it's too much," he told E! News. "I just can't do it anymore…I'm done."

McDermott added that his wife wasn't exactly on the same page and believes more of her story needs to be told. Lifetime has not commented on the future of the show.

Reality TV aside, both parents hope 2015 will bring more happiness and joy instead of sadness and animosity.

"I am so excited for a brand new year," Spelling shared in her latest blog post. "I have a feeling 2015 is going to be a good one."
