Watch: Listen In! Taylor Swift Shares Her Best Advice

Out of the woods...and onto The Voice!

Taylor Swift is set to visit the NBC reality hit this season as the contestants' mega-mentor, offering each of the four coaches' teams advice and guidance. Given Swift's success, and the hype surrounding her highly anticipated upcoming album 1989, can you think of anyone better for the gig?!

And guess what? E! News chatted with the lovely Miss Swift, who makes her debut on Monday, Oct. 27 (the same  day 1989 drops!), about her awesome new gig and why she decided to head to reality TV. Spoiler alert: we all need to send Coldplay's Chris Martin an Edible Arrangements as a thank you!

Martin acted as The Voice's mega-mentor last season, and Swift revealed that was part of the reason she decided to take over the position this year.

"I'd seen that Chris Martin had done it and Chris is one of my favorite frontman of one of my favorite bands," she said. "So I went and researched what he had done…and when [NBC] reached out to me, I thought you had to watch people and tell them whether they're good or bad and it's not that at all. It's much more interesting and fun and kind of freestyle than that. So I'm having the best time!"

And ever the hard worker, Swift has also been using her time at The Voice to secure potential collaborations with some of the coaches, including Pharrell Williams. (They haven't even worked together yet and their song is already our new favorite jam.)

"Pharrell and I were definitely talking about hopping in the studio at some point," Swift revealed. "Gwen [Stefani] I would work with in a minute...Blake [Shelton] and Adam [Levine] I would do something comedic with. That's more of like a, 'We really need to do something on SNL,' like a skit."

Lorne Michaels, are you listening?!
