During her time on the series, Swift advised the performers on vocal technique, stage presence and the importance of "tailoring songs to fit their personalities and strengths," NBC said in a release. During the Knockout Round each coach can steal one or more artists from their rivals. Following the Knockout Round, the contestants still standing will move on to Playoff Round.

Swift's fifth album already has produced a No. 1 single, "Shake It Off." She's the youngest recipient of a Grammy for Album of the Year and is the best-selling digital music artist of all time. When Swift isn't advising The Voice and topping the charts, she's busy breaking the Internet by wearing shirts inspired by Tumblr and naming her cat Olivia Benson after the Law & Order: SVU character.

The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC.

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
