The decision of when to have sex (and with whom) is a very personal one.

Some stars make the choice to abstain up until the wedding night, though, and that list of self-proclaimed celebrity virgins is longer than you might think!

Jessica Simpson famously vowed not to do the deed until she said "I do." The former Newlyweds star stuck to that promise and was intimate with Nick Lachey only once they were man and wife in October 2002. She was 22.

The singer-turned-fashion mogul and 98 Degrees boy-bander divorced in 2006 and have since remarried other people. Jessica and hubby Eric Johnson have two kids (daughter Maxwell, 2, and son Ace, 14 months) while Nick and wife Vanessa Lachey are the proud parents to a son (Camden, 2) and have a little girl on the way.

This, however, does not change the fact that J.Simp was (once) a V-card carrying club member!

Adriana Lima also swore off sex until her wedding night, telling GQ in 2006 that "sex is just for after marriage."

"[Men] have to respect that this is my choice," she said at the time. "If there's no respect, that means they don't want me."

Fair enough! She wed Marko Jaric in 2008 at age 27. In May 2014, though, Adriana and her husband, with whom she has two daughters, announced they were separating.

Of course, you can't forget 19 Kids and Counting star Jill Duggar and her hubby Derick Dillard. The conservative Christian pair didn't even kiss until their June 21, 2014, wedding. That night, they, um, consummated their union.

Apparently, too, Derick was taking shots on goal, because just weeks after tying the knot, Jill announced her pregnancy. (Not to worry, though—we did the math, and it's totally possible these two are telling the truth about never having had premarital sex.)
