When Jessica Simpson walked out on stage yesterday at the TV Critics Press Tour to promote her new show Fashion Star, she appeared to be about 17 months pregnant. With twins.
She's not, of course. But she is certainly ready to pop. And it's not fair how beautiful she looked while sporting that baby bump. Thankfully, she was in great sprits while talking to us about why she fell in love with Fashion Star's concept and the quick arrival of her maternity line. Jessica Simpson announced today that she will be adding a—surprise, surprise!—maternity line to her billion-dollar fashion empire.
The very pregnant and glowing celeb—wearing a formfitting dark-green maxidress and sporting shiny golden tresses—appeared at the 2012 Winter TCA Tour in Pasadena today with fellow costars Nicole Richie and Elle Macpherson to promote their new NBC reality competition, Fashion Star. (NBC and E! are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)

Sure, Hollywood may be magical around the holidays (what with Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin taking over Times Square and whatever Christmas/Hannukah/etc. movie you claim as your fave), but we think Tinseltown is pretty fabulous all year round.
Which is why we're counting down 99 of the reasons we think it's so grand. Like yesterday's batch that featured oh-so-humble and sexy Bradley Cooper, the (mucho-welcomed) invasion of the Royals and Taylor Swift's endless adorableness.

If you haven't caught on yet, here's the CliffsNotes version: We're so filled with the cheer of the holiday season that we decided to think back on (only!) 99 of the many, many reasons that we still love this crazy town we call home.
So yesterday we boasted about how much we adore Adele and American Horror Story's Zachary Quinto, got way jealous over Jennifer Aniston's bangin' bod, and even gave a shout-out to Sarah Palin (tho maybe not in the way you'd think).
And now here are nine more reasons we think that Hollywood is the best place ever:
Jessica Simpson Still Working Out Fitness Snit
Jessica Simpson would be first to say she's in a great place: She loves being pregnant and, finally, the eagle-eyed public can give it a rest when it comes to her weight.
Fat chance.
The maker of a never-released exercise tape shot in 2005 starring Simpson has appealed a previous decision in Simpson's favor that required him to pay the singer's legal fees after he took her camp to court for breach of contract.
According to Alex Astilean, however, fuel was added to the fire when Simpson gave an interview to Lucky in which she said that "the decision not to make myself anorexic was actually great for branding." So why does he care what she's saying now, six years later?

Demi Moore has had a seriously sad few weeks. First she announced her divorce from Ashton Kutcher, and this past weekend she was in Cape Cod for the funeral of one of her close friends.
Pattsy Rugg died at age 70 from pneumonia complications, and Demi headed to Marstons Mills this past weekend to pay her respects.
A source in Cape Cod also spotted Ms. M. out at lunch on Saturday afternoon. Here's what they told us:
