One of our favorite dance movies of all time is Step Up (and if you don't agree with us, we don't like you and we don't want to be friends with you).

Not only did it give birth to the entire Step Up franchise (Moose!), but it also sparked one of the most perfect celebrity couples ever: Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Channing Tatum. It was a match made in heaven...and the dance studio.

There's no doubt that the Tatums have killer moves, but what would have happened if they both auditioned for So You Think You Can Dance before they hit it big in Hollywood?

"I would like to think I could have held my own," Jenna told E! News after SYTYCD's show on Wednesday, where she served as a guest judge. "I would like to think that, but you never know. [Channing] would have done great, too. He would have been perfect because he would have been the hip hop dancer that would have to learn contemporary and had to learn ballroom. But he's such a fast learner that he would have just jumped right in there. He would have killed it."

That's the understatement of the year. We have no doubt that the Tatums would have gone all the way to the finals!

Plus, The Witches of East End star had this amazing idea to reboot the original Step Up movie: "What if Nora and Tyler were actually partners on So You Think You Can Dance?" Jenna says. "That would have been cool."

Uh, yeah, no kidding! We'd watch that movie in a heartbeat. Who do we talk to about getting that made?

Watch Jenna's interview with E! News above to find out what she thought of the most recent SYTYCD elimination, why she's a fan of the show and if her daughter Everly will follow in mom and dad's footsteps and become a dancer herself.
