Every year it's the same – we spend most weeks saying "Man, I wish I could do anything besides the Mashed Potato and the party moves from Footloose so I could be on So You Think You Can Dance." Then, callback week hits, and we thank the heavens for our two left feet.

What a grueling, miserable-looking experience! Dancers were eliminated left and right as they struggled to quickly learn complicated choreography from expert choreographers, including the entertainingly-named Marie Poppins and Steven Kador, whose girlfriend was in labor as he was soloing.

Tonight's judges, including not only Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy but also Twitch, ice skater Tara Lipinski, Adam Shankman, and pro ballet dancer Irina Dvorovenko, were brutal, although we nominate Twitch for permanent judge just so we can never stop seeing the joy on his face when he loves a performance (and also because, let's face it, he's awesome).

Finally, it was all worth it, and 20 lucky dancers made it to the live shows, where they will dance for the chance to become America's Favorite Dancer, starting next week. Without further ado, we present to you the season 11 top 20 of So You Think You Can Dance.

For the girls, Tanisha Belnap, Carly Blaney, Jourdan Epstein, Brooklyn Fullmer, Emily James, Jacque LeWarne, Malene Ostergaard, Jessica Richens, Valerie Rockey and Bridget Whitman all made it through. The top 10 boys include Rudy Abreu, Casey Askew, Teddy Coffey, Emilio Dosal, Zack Everhart, Jr., Nick Garcia, Stanley Glover, Marcquet Hill, Serge Onik and Ricky Ubeda.

The show also announced the four winning dance crews that get to perform live on the SYTYCD stage this season: Academy of Villains, Wanted Ashiqz, Control Freakz and Chloe Arnold's Syncopated Ladies.

Live shows begin Wednesday, July 2 at 8 p.m., but in the meantime, we want to know what you think! Did your favorites make it into the top 20? Who were you said to see eliminated? Let us know in the comments!
