Gomez, 22, shared on her Instagram page after midnight on Saturday night a video of what appears to be a full moon and sounds of coyotes howling.
Guys, that happened in real life and not just in movies. Narration by: @taylorswift13," she said.
"What you are witnessing, actually hearing, is coyotes freaking out over a full moon. I didn't know that was a real thing. I thought it was just a wolf thing" says 24-year-old Swift, before erupting into giggles with her friend.
The two pop stars, who are longtime BFFs, are set on Sunday to appear at at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards. Both are nominated. In addition, Gomez is receiving a special honor (check out a list of TCAs 2014 nominees.)
