"I look better than ever," the 42-year-old mother and wife of Will Smith declared, quickly following up with, "and I work out less. I'm never in the gym for [more than] 45 minutes."
Too look that enviably fit and not have to frequent the gym? Must be nice. Pinkett Smith explained that she's learned it's less about living in the gym and more about being generally active.
"As I've gotten older, I've learned that it's about being physical every day," said Jada. "You don't have to go to the gym if that's not your thing. You can go outside your door and walk around your block."
Since we've covered she's not a huge gym fan, what is Jada's favorite way to stay active? "I do old-school roller skating," she revealed. "I love it. That's just how I grew up."
Jada touched on what it's like to be in a family that is constantly in the public eye. Her attitude toward rumors? Refreshingly relaxed. "You look back at it and look at how creative people can be, and it's kind of entertaining. We can laugh because it's so ridiculous. But I get it. I don't take it personally."
Jada also revealed that one of the most sacred times of her day is bath time. "My bath is like my temple," she said. "I have all the potions, all the salts, all the candles. When the door's shut, it's the only excuse I have not to answer anybody."
