Orange Is the New Black is getting a dose of Fringe for its next go-round. E! News has confirmed Fringe veteran Blair Brown will appear in season three of the Netflix dramedy.

Additional details about her role are being kept under wraps. TV Guide was first to report her casting. Brown played Nina Sharp on Fringe for five seasons. Her other TV credits include Political Animals, Falling Skies and Law & Order: SVU.

Brown joins confirmed guest star Mary Steenburgen. Steenburgen is likely playing Pornstache's (Pablo Schreiber) mother. But we won't be seeing Schreiber or that glorious facial hair this season.

"I'm not taking part in the third season," he told The New York Post. "I'm a member of a show called The Brink that's going to be on HBO. It's a half-hour comedy with Jack Black and Tim Robbins and me [as] the three leads. I'm really excited about it."

However, Schreiber said just because he's not in season three doesn't mean viewers have seen the last of him.

Matt McGorry is pulling double duty, filming Orange Is the New Black season three and soon ABC's How to Get Away With Murder.

"Generally speaking, I get to be present in both shows, which is sort of amazing," he told reporters at the 2014 TCA Summer Press tour. "I am allowed to do both, which is incredible and I think ABC giving me permission to do that is really quite wonderful...It's too early to tell how it's going to work, but same way as Pablo Schreiber in season two, you can shoot things out of order. Thankfully, I get to do both."

Orange Is the New Black season three is currently in production.
