Can Georgina Haig "Let It Go?" She's going to need to learn because she's been tapped to play Frozen's Elsa in the new season of Once Upon a Time.
Haig joins previously announced Scott Michael Foster as Kristoff and newcomer Elizabeth Lail as Anna in Once Upon a Time season four. The actress is known for her role on Fringe as Etta Bishop and is currently appearing in CBS' summer series Reckless. Haig's other credits include the flicks The Sapphires and Road Kill.
Once Upon a Time is set to pick up with the Frozen characters after the events of the hit film. Elsa's involvement with the series was teased at the end of season three. The film saw Elsa, Queen of Arendelle, accidently create eternal winter with her ice powers. Anna, Elsa's sister, and Kristoff went on a quest to save the kingdom and Elsa.
"Well, it's funny, we're not going to redo the movie, because we just don't feel like it's in anyone's interest for us to redo it," Once Upon a Time co-creator Adam Horowitz told E! News after the finale. "But what we are going to do, we're not ready to tell you. But what we can say is we're very aware of what we think makes this character from Frozen so special and we want to honor that and make sure that what we do is in the universe of everyone fell in love with this past year."
Expect all three characters to recur during the fourth season.
