Winter is coming to Once Upon a Time in the form of Frozen characters Elsa, Anna and Kristoff. But the famous faces behind the Disney hit—Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell and Jonathan Groff—won't be reprising the roles.

E! News has confirmed Once Upon a Time has tapped Greek veteran Scott Michael Foster to play Kristoff, the love interest for Anna. Newcomer Elizabeth Lail will play the role of Anna.

Elsa has yet to be cast. TVLine first reported the casting news.

Once Upon a Time teased the inclusion of Frozen characters at the end of season three.

The characters likely won't stray too far from the movie versions with Elsa afraid of huring her sister, Anna, after accidentally throwing Arendelle into eternal winter. Anna is described as impulsive and plucky, she holds her relationship with Elsa above everything else. When the movie ended, Kristoff had fallen in love with Anna and he's now adjusting to life in Arendelle alongside the sisters.

"Well, it's funny, we're not going to redo the movie, because we just don't feel like it's in anyone's interest for us to redo it," Once Upon a Time co-creator Adam Horowitz told E! News after the finale. "But what we are going to do, we're not ready to tell you. But what we can say is we're very aware of what we think makes this character from Frozen so special and we want to honor that and make sure that what we do is in the universe of everyone fell in love with this past year."
