Pour a glass of bubbly and break out the noisemakers. It's time to celebrate, because we've been waiting for this day: Alexander Wang is teaming up with H&M for an exclusive collection!

The announcement was made officially at Coachella, during a party hosted by Alexander Wang and H&M. But Coachella goers don't have to worry about this being some type of desert mirage. They made it extra official by announcing it on Alexander Wang's Instagram account at midnight on Sunday. This is the real deal.

"I am honored to be a part of H&M's designer collaborations," said Wang in a statement. "The work with their team is an exciting, fun process. They are very open to push boundaries and to set a platform for creativity."

This collab marks a lot of firsts for H&M—it's the first time they've teamed up with an American designer (past designers include Karl Lagerfeld, Lanvin and most recently, Isabel Marant), and it's also the youngest designer they've ever worked with. It's hard to believe, but Alexander Wang is only 30.

Just when we were starting to get a little exhausted of all these designers teaming up with major discount retailers, a collab comes along that we just can't help but freak out about. We have a feeling this is going to be a really good one.

Before you start lining up at your local H&M, the collection won't hit stores until November 6. It will be sold at 250 H&M stores worldwide and will include both men's and women's apparel as well as accessories.

We may not be able to afford a $1,495 Alexander Wang leather backpack, but we can definitely cough up the cash for his H&M designs. Consider our calendars marked.
