Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, the 43-year-old Spanish caretaker who was hired by Prince William and Kate Middleton to look after their bouncing baby boy, made her first public appearance Down Under this week.
Borrallo was photographed for the first time since landing her big gig in Wellington, New Zealand, today as the royal family embarks on their three-week tour of New Zealand and Australia. Borrallo looked cool, calm and collected in a black blazer, skirt and white shirt with her hair pulled up in a ponytail after landing down on at the Wellington Airport Military Terminal on a Royal New Zealand Air Force aircraft.
Borrallo will definitely have her hands full for the next three weeks looking after 8-month-old Prince George as the royal brood tour New Zealand and Australia.
The famous fam touched down in Wellington this weekend and got straight to work. On Monday, Will, Kate and George met with Prime Minister John Key at Wellington's Government House. The duke and duchess received a traditional Hongi welcome from Maori elders Hiria Hape and Lewis Moeau, which involved pressing their noses and foreheads to the elders' noses and foreheads. They also heard speeches and watched some traditional dancing.
On Wednesday, the trio will attend an official event for new parents and babies.
