FOX via Getty ImagesFact: Jennifer Lopez's style has been on-point recently. Not that the singer has ever disappointed us fashion-wise, but her looks on American Idol have been exceptionally J.Lo level. (Props to her stylist team Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn!)
By that we mean chic with a side of sexy. Last week's hot pink ensemble was a welcome pop of color and proof that it is possible to pull off a head-to-toe neon effect. But last night's pastel blue frock might be our favorite look of the season. The first day of spring may be today, but Jenny really kicked things off last night.
The pop star worked the heck out of a Safiyaa cutout frock with embellished Jimmy Choo pumps. It should be noted that by look we mean the whole effect—including the hair and makeup. Because as much as we love the frock, we equally adore her purposefully undone side-braid and matching pastel eye shadow.
And as amazing as Kate Winslet looked in an almost identical dress by the brand the night before (the only difference being color and length), J.Lo is the clear winner here.
