If you're anything like us, you've been anxiously awaiting the Peter Pilotto collaboration for Target (which hits stores this Sunday!), and have already plotted out a precise plan in order to obtain the most popular pieces without a hitch.

So when we had the opportunity to get a sneak peek at the gorgeous goods in person at last night's launch party in New York City, we jumped at the chance.

E! News' Zanna Roberts Rassi scored some downtime with the designers to chat about the exciting collaboration.

"It's an amazing opportunity that we have with our brand and showcasing it to the world [with Target] takes it into a whole new direction," they told us. "We always knew about their collaborations and this is such a great partner for us."

We're certainly smitten with the pairing!

After all, the almost 70 pieces in the collection are all priced under $100, meaning there are plenty of pieces on our wish list already.

And out of all of the items, the talented pair tells us that the swimwear is among their favorites from the collection.

"You can pair our swimwear and rash guards with different pieces and it's really exciting," they explained.

And in case you're a bit shy of their signature bold prints, they emphasize, "We always work hard on the layout of every garment. It's always very flattering."

Indeed!

So flattering, that a bevy of Hollywood beauties were happy to come out and support the line, decked out in fabulous pieces from the line from head to toe.

"I picked this [outfit] pretty surely. I love the red and prints make me happy! It's bold, I felt like we needed a little color in this weather," Diane Kruger commented.

Also in total agreement was Dree Hemingway, who couldn't help but sing praises for the designers.

"Christopher and Peter are insane! You can't really fail with prints. The more mixing and matching, the better…light up your life!" she smiled.

We certainly will!
