Hillary Clinton's list of resolutions for 2014 must have included a style shakeup.
At the Jan. 1 swearing-in ceremony for New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, the 66-year-old stateswoman debuted a new layered bob, complete with wispy, side-swept bangs!
It appears that Clinton also touched up her color, going for bright honey-colored tones.
The makeover probably came just in time, considering that speculation over whether the onetime presidential candidate plans to run again in 2016 will only heat up until she makes a definitive announcement either way.
And in the meantime, anything is a welcome change from the long graying locks she was understandably ignoring during her busy term as Secretary of State. Besides, she can't let Michelle Obama have all the fashionable fun!
Former President Bill Clinton administered the oath of office to de Blasio, a fellow Democrat. He and Hillary, who was just named Barbara Walters' Most Fascinating Person of 2013, both bundled up in printed scarves, wool coats and matching black leather gloves for the happy yet chilly occasion.
They sat closely together among fellow VIPs such as outgoing NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg and New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo as the inauguration continued.
Actually, this current look is an extension of a makeover that started in July, when she showed up at the dedication of the Hillary Rodham Clinton Children's Library in Little Rock, Ark., with a longer, more feathery bob.
Early polling indicates that she's on the right track.
What do you think of her new 'do? Do Hillary's bangs get your vote in 2014?
