Chelsea Clinton's New TV Gig—What Will Former First Daughter Be Doing?

NBC News certainly has the market cornered on the bipartisan hiring of former first daughters (hey, everyone has their niche).
The network announced this morning that it's added Chelsea Clinton to its employee roster, signing the 31-year-old daughter of President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton as a full-time special correspondent.
Nice gig. But what, exactly, does that mean?

Is it any wonder the man introduced as a diplomatic rock star was able to attract a veritable cavalcade of real rock stars to come out and play?
Of course, it wasn't just rock (and pop) stars like Lady Gaga, Usher, Kenny Chesney, Stevie Wonder and half of U2 who came out for Saturday night's A Decade of Difference concert at the Hollywood Bowl, which served as both a 10-year celebration of the global works of the Clinton Foundation as well as the belated 65th birthday party for President Bill Clinton himself (Bono and The Edge even took time out from their set to croon "Happy Birthday" to the former commander-in-chief).
But while the night did, at times, take on a serious tone, those were interspersed between moments like Usher suffering a major wardrobe malfunction, Lady Gaga having her own presidential Marilyn Monroe moment, and Ashton Kutcher taking the stage to an onslaught of cheers. So, did the man currently at the center of an unrelenting tabloid storm give the media any more fuel for their fire? And more importantly, did he mention Demi Moore?

Unfortunately for them, it didn't take long for this nation's Fashionista-in-Chief Lady Gaga to catch wind of their remarks and defend the female-empowering politico to the fullest.

God forbid anyone actually learn what the meetings were about (how to help Pakistan and Haiti)! Instead, Hil was bashed for her poor taste in butterfly clips.

The Federal Aviation Administration has granted the former first daughter and her hubby-to-be, Marc Mezvinsky, a VIP temporary flight restriction covering Rhinebeck, N.Y., ensuring shutterbugs will not be taking to the sky in choppers to buzz what's undoubtedly the biggest wedding of the year.
Maybe this is a job for those party-crashing Salahis.
