About one week after reports surfaced alleging that McDermott cheated on his wife with a 28-year-old woman, the couple took to their personal blogs to share some of their kids' adorable resolutions for the new year.
"I hope you all had a wonderful New Year's Day spent with family and friends!" Spelling, 40, posted yesterday. "Yesterday I asked Liam and Stella what their New Year's Resolutions were, and their responses were WAY too cute not to share."
Spelling continued, "Liam's New Year's Resolutions:
To have more fun
Not take a bath everyday
Get lots of games on my Kurio
Go out to dinner more with our Uncles and friends
Take care of my new guinea pig Mike McDermott
Have more play dates with my cousin Simone
And then he said, "That's all my New Years Revolutions!" It was too cute to correct him."
As for daughter Stella, Spelling wrote, "Stella's New Year's Resolutions:
Spend more time with my little sister and brother Hattie & Finn
Play and craft more with Mom & Dad
More pillow fights
Make cake pops for my family and friends
Learn to walk in high heels
Adorable, right? Made my heart melt."
Despite the cheating allegations, Spelling also took to her blog recently to share a happy family photo of her brood where everyone is all smiles.
"Happy New Year everyone!" she wrote. "I can NOT believe it's 2014. Time flies when you're having fun...and when you have 4 little ones running around! We rang in the New Year with (kid-friendly) cocktails, lots of yummy treats and some quality family time. Cheers to another year of crafting, cooking, party-planning, family memories, fashion statements, love fests, lots of cozy time, and of course...blogging!"
